Here we are guys, the final week! 

We are 64% funded and are SO EXCITED to blow this Kickstarter out of the water with you!

Interestingly enough, we have found out that there are JQ fans who DIDN'T know we had a Kickstarter going! Luckily they found out, but that also means that there are some fans out there who may not know about JourneyQuest 3.5!  So if you've been on the fence about sharing a post, or screaming your love of JourneyQuest from the rooftops, now is the time.  

If you have thought, "other people seem to be doing enough, my post won't make a difference" I am here to tell you that it DOES make a difference. Everything you do to help us with this campaign is vital to it's success. Your post could be the one that reaches someone who didn't know about the campaign. Your post could be the one that gets us a new fan. Your post could change the course of this campaign.

We don't want anyone to miss the opportunity to get a World Bible and Campaign Setting or create their own hero and we certainly don't want anyone missing out on the fantastic scenes we have planned for JourneyQuest 3.5. 

So let's do this. Let's blow up those social media pages with JourneyQuest so that absolutely no one misses out on this campaign!  Let's have an amazing last week!

Orcs, Tarts and Scones, OH MY!

First off we are over 60% funded! Congrats everyone! Can we get to 70% over the weekend? Can we do it...FOR HONOR?!

To get to 70% we would sure need to provide you with some cool material to post and share wouldn't we? Luckily for you, noble companions, we have just the ticket.

With the leaves turning color and the cold weather coming in, I know that I love to snuggle up on the couch and watch JourneyQuest.  Sounds perfect doesn't it?

Fartherall World Bible

A Message from Matt Vancil on the Fartherall World Bible:

I think “world bible” might not be painting a complete enough picture of what this book will contain. Like with Strowlers, the Fartherall World Bible will provide guidelines for folks interested in creating their own works of fiction set in the world of JourneyQuest and the Gamers—movies, stories, whatever tales you want to tell. But that is only one of the functions this book will serve.

A better title might be The Fartherall Companion. Think of it as a system agnostic campaign setting. It’s a complete history of Fartherall, stretching from its emergence in the Non-Age before Creation to the (non-spoilery) end of all things in the Age of Dust, with detailed writeups of the prominent peoples, organizations, and events of every age—everything you and your gaming group could possibly need to create your own personal JourneyQuest—all the world’s secrets, laid bare. Without spoiling the series, of course.

Want to know how the Bard’s College or Wizardium came to be? How the Wicked Kings seized power? The link between Fartherall and Countermay? How magic works, why the elves aren’t there in the Fifth Age, why the orcs weren’t in the Third, and when the Ord return? Any why? And how? Because this book will cover it—all of it, the entirety of fiction set in the world of JQ and the Gamers, with a more-than-fleeting glimpse at the wider Hopjockey universe beyond. Which is where I expect I’ll be turning my storytelling energy once JourneyQuest is complete.

And what you’ll see—in this book, and after the conclusion of the series in JQ5—is how it all. Ties. Together. JourneyQuest, Gamers, Hopjockey, Countermay… all of it. And how we’ve had it planned that way since…

…well. We’ll show you if you let us. Here’s a sampler of sections planned for the book, some of which are stretch goals:

• Dragons!

• Gods and Religion

• Oblivion: True Death

Hello to all returning and new backers!

Our campaign is on track and doing well, thanks to your support, as we enter the home stretch. Half of our time has passed and now the clock is ticking. Our goal? We want to not only shoot our core material, but to upgrade the Fartherall World Bible to a fancy, deluxe edition with twice as much content!

And yes, that means stretch goals. In our next update we'll start introducing what's possible, but for today, we're asking for your help to boost the signal.
